NHL Game of the Week - Wednesday

Analysis: I'm going with Colorado to take down Dallas on Wednesday night. With both teams squaring off in Denver to finish off their home and away series. Colorado has had an insane offense this season coming into Tuesday's game they were averaging 5.20 goals per game. That's the highest in the entire NHL. They should be able to exploit Dallas poor offense this week. With Nathan MacKinnon putting up 5 goals and 10 points over 5 games he will continue to produce many chances for Colorado to score on. Coming into Tuesday, Dallas had only scored 1 goal or less in all of their losses. Which if they don't find a way to score against Colorado this game will be a long night. Colorado will also be at home on Wednesday where they went 26-9-6 at Ball arena last season. So with their many weapons they can continue to score on Dallas. Martin Necas, Brock Nelson, Nazem Kadri and Gabriel Landeskog can all chip in with goals. They also may have Scott Wedgewood starting on Wednesday. Allowing him to play against his old team could allow for good goaltending. Dallas has some great weapons as well with Rantanen, Robertson and Hintz. But without Matt Duchene they will be missing one more player who can score. I think we will see more goals from MacKinnon and Colorado will have the better chance at winning this game.
