Analysis: The Dodgers are up against this year in the NLCS, down 0-2 to the Brewers and there are rumors that Shohei Ohtani could be benched. But Game 3 is in LA and Blake Snell will be on the mound. Snell went 4-1 with a 1.90 ERA in the regular season. Granted, he was limited to nine starts. It wasn’t the most impressive performance in the NLDS vs. Atlanta as that was the one game in that series the Dodgers lost. Be we trust Snell in this spot. It’s nine straight starts overall where he’s allowed 1 or 0 runs. No home runs allowed all season for Snell. That’s huge because in the postseason, it’s usually the team that hits the most homers that wins the game. The Brewers were last in the National League in HRs hit during the regular season. Now Snell isn’t really the concern heading into Game 3; it’s the Dodgers’ lineup. We think they get right back at home. It will help facing Robert Gasser, who is 0-2 with a 5.91 ERA vs. LA this season. The Brewers’ rookie is a weak link in an otherwise solid rotation.
