Pick: Las Vegas Aces vs Golden State Valkyries Under 169.5 (-110) (Consensus Line)

Analysis: My selection is on the 'under' between Las Vegas and Golden State at 3:30 pm et on Sunday. We saw a stark contrast in scoring depending on the setting in last season's four matchups between these two teams. The two meetings in San Francisco were both of the low-scoring variety and I expect more of the same in Sunday's first matchup between them in 2026. The Aces check into this contest off back-to-back 'over' results while the Valkyries have seen three straight games go 'over' the total. I'm confident we'll see a different story unfold here. Note that Golden State is arguably one of, if not the best defensive team in the WNBA right now. The Valkyries have held all seven opponents to 30 or fewer made field goals this season and five of those foes to 26 or fewer. The Aces enter this game on a scoring surge but will be taking a step up in class here. Golden State is coming off consecutive strong showings offensively, knocking down 34 and 31 field goals in its last two contests. It has yet to record three straight games with 30+ made field goals this season, however. The last time it tried it fell in an exceptionally low-scoring 69-63 result at home against Chicago on May 13th. Take the under (8*).
