Analysis: My selection is on New York plus the points over San Antonio at 1:10 pm et on Sunday. The Spurs are on an incredible run right now, winners of 11 straight games. That of course puts them in uncharted territory as it marks their longest winning streak of the season by far. I think it comes to an end at Madison Square Garden on Sunday. The Knicks do come in playing inconsistent basketball. They're just 1-4 ATS over their last five contests but did span their ATS skid in resounding fashion with a 29-point rout of the Bucks on Friday. I don't think they'll be returning home satisfied following a 2-1 road trip. The Spurs on the other hand are already off to a perfect 3-0 start to what set up as a difficult eastern road trip (it began with stops in Detroit and Toronto). Instead of resting starters, the Spurs 'emptied the tank' in Thursday's blowout win in Brooklyn. While I do commend them for keeping their foot on the gas in what could have been a letdown spot, I think they end up falling short after patting themselves on the back for a couple of days here. Take New York (8*).
