Analysis: My selection is on Portland plus the points over Atlanta at 6:10 pm et on Sunday. The Trail Blazers were never competitive in yesterday's blowout loss in Charlotte. We'll call for them to rebound on Sunday, however, as they still check in 6-4 SU and ATS over their last 10 games, going a perfect 3-0 SU and ATS following an ATS defeat over that stretch. The Hawks have won three games in a row both SU and ATS but it's worth noting those three victories came against the Nets and Wizards (twice). I think these two teams are mirror images of one another in a lot of ways and asking the Hawks to cover this pointspread after losing by 16 in the lone previous meeting between them in Portland back on January 15th is a bit much. Of note, Atlanta has been held to 43 or fewer made field goals in eight straight games entering Sunday's action. It's been a similar story for the Blazers to be sure, but that only leads me to believe that these two teams can match each other step-for-step on Sunday. Take Portland (8*).
