Analysis: At 6:35 pm, our selection is on the Florida Panthers over the New York Islanders. If the Florida Panthers are going to make it a three-peat (three Stanley Cup Championships in a row), then they better get busy. With just a little more than a quarter of the season left, Florida's reigning NHL Champs are just one game over the .500 mark heading into a huge four-game road trip that begins tonight in Queens. Injuries have certainly played a big role in the Panthers' struggles this season and they are still without six members of the lineup tonight as they prepare to take on an Islanders team that they've had a lot of success against recently. The Isles are also without some key members of the team, including veteran forward (and local product) Kyle Palmieri, who continues to miss time with a knee injury. The Panthers have won three of the last four meetings with the Islanders, including the only other meeting this season, a dominant 4-1 victory back on December 7. Take Florida.
