While the Dolphins’ start has been ugly, Thursday offers a prime chance for them to punch back against a division rival that has dominated this matchup in recent years. Buffalo deserves credit for starting 2-0, first with a dramatic comeback win over Baltimore and then by avoiding a letdown against the Jets. But this spot sets up as more of a “handle business and move on” type game, especially with a short week before another manageable matchup against New Orleans. The Bills’ defense is also nursing some injuries, which could open the door for Miami to keep this one closer than the oddsmakers suggest. Buffalo has won six straight in the series, but three of the last four home victories came by a field goal margin.
